The Idea

For this project we felt that it was important to highlight key aspects that we thought embodied the spirit of The World Cup but in an aesthetically pleasing way. Take More Photos wanted to highlight the cultural exchange that happens during the competition, as The World Cup provides an incredible platform to showcase the unique cultural heritage of all the countries involved, and we wanted to mirror that for the city of London. As well as this, we wanted to highlight the human stories around the competition, behind every team and every match are the incredible human stories of triumph, struggle, and determination. We aimed to seek out to capture these narratives, profiling fans who embody the spirit of the World Cup and let their journeys inspire and resonate with viewers.
