Adidas Forums

The Brief

We were approached by Adidas to promote their release of the High Top Forums and create an energetic and urban atmosphere that bridges street basketball and the digital vibrancy of TikTok. They wanted to highlight the sneaker's style through a cast of young, talented ballers and influential TikTokers, incorporating wardrobe selections that complement the Forums, emphasizing the brand's athletic aesthetic.‍

The Idea

Our concept was Retro Futurism: combining the history of the shoe with the future. We aimed to showcase young talent using the setting of a basketball court and incorporating sets that would have been relevant during the initial release of the shoe in 1984. Our goal for the final images and visuals was forward-thinking editing styles to present the talent as dynamic athletes capable of conquering different sports.

The Result

We created a space segmented into different areas: one for stills, one as an activity station, and the leading site for the Adidas Forum Basketball court, incorporating the two colours of the shoe, white and blue. Following Adidas' brand guidelines, we captured the footballers and TikTokers in vivid stills throughout the space as they moved through the court fluidly.
